7-Day Live Arrival Guarantee

We know how delicate marine creatures can be, and we take every precaution to ensure their safe arrival. However, we also recognize that unforeseen challenges may arise during transit. To give you peace of mind, we offer a 7-day Live Arrival Guarantee. This guarantee ensures that your corals arrive alive and maintain their vitality for at least seven days after delivery.

In the rare event of a loss, we’ll provide store credit for the item purchased, reflecting our commitment to you and the health of our marine life. Here’s how our guarantee works:

  • Store Credit Only: We issue store credit equal to the item’s purchase price. Refunds to credit cards are not available.
  • Eligibility: The item must be deceased to qualify for credit. Corals showing slight color loss due to shipping stress are not considered dead. With proper care and pristine tank conditions, they will typically recover and thrive.
  • Reporting Losses: Notify us of any losses within 24 hours of delivery by emailing norcalcorals@yahoo.com. Please include a photograph of the deceased coral. If you’re unable to provide a photo, we may ask you to ship the coral back to us for verification. Retain the specimen until your claim is processed.

To file a claim, your email must include:

  1. Your order name
  2. The name of the deceased coral
  3. A clear photograph of the coral (unpacked)
  4. The delivery address
  5. Your contact phone number and email address

Note: Our guarantee is valid only if the shipment is signed for on the first delivery attempt. For more details, please review our Shipping Policy.

Important: Do not refuse a shipment, even if it arrives late or appears damaged. To qualify for our guarantee, you must accept the delivery on the first attempt.

Tank Health and Acclimation

To be covered under our guarantee, ensure your aquarium is fully cycled and your livestock is properly acclimated. For recommended acclimation procedures, please reach out to us directly with any questions.

Order Accuracy

We strive for accuracy in every order. Our website is updated in real-time to prevent double orders. However, if the condition of a coral changes after its photo is taken, we’ll contact you with updated images before shipping. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’ll ensure the coral you see is the coral you receive.

Authentic Coral Photos

All coral photos are taken under high-quality Rapid LED Onyx lighting, reflecting their actual appearance in our tanks. We do not enhance images—what you see is what you get.

Please note that lighting setups vary, and corals may look different under your tank’s lighting. Factors like shipping stress, water quality, and other tank parameters can also affect coloration. However, with a clean, stable environment, most corals will maintain or regain their vibrant colors.
